Holiday Wrap-up

Hello there =D I hope you had an absolutely amazing Christmas break and new years! What a whirlwind couple of weeks its been!!

After driving 1300km to Yanco, Brett and I were so lucky to be able to spend a week with his beautiful family. We were spoiled all week with delicious food and treats from Brett’s mum, Tracey. She is an amazing cook! We had morning tea with his nan and pop, and spent hours sitting in their garden, talking, eating home grown veggies and watching their chickens. -Brett’s pop, Gub, was hatching some eggs :) We went swimming in the river, hung out with Brett’s brother and his gorgeous girlfrined, caught up with Brett’s mates for beers and a bbq, visited the local drinking holes, had so many cups of tea :D watched some movies, ate and ate and ate, went to the local trots, enjoyed daylight until 10pm, slept in and relaxed in a week filled with great company.

We travelled home up the coast to Newcastle, where we were fortunate enough to be able to spend a night with my Aunt and Uncle, in their beautiful beach side apartment. We had a nice breakfast with Brett’s brother and his girlfriend, before heading off. We spent a quiet new years (and 3 year anniversary!) in Woolgoolga. New years day was an easy 5 hour drive and we were home, saying farewell to an absolutely amazing time away.
