15 days. HALF WAY!

GOOOOD MORNING!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend celebrating the first day of summer :) We spent the weekend outside and down at the beach, enjoying the sun and the surf and eating beautiful fresh foods.

Today marks the half way mark of my whole 30 journey! Come the end of this week I seem to have settled into the program quite nicely and am really enjoying it. Most of the time sweets don’t even cross my mind, it just seems to happen when I am tired at the end of the weekend, and unprepared for what I will have for dinner.

Words can hardly describe how good I am feeling. My energy levels are way up, my skin clearer and my eyes brighter, I have slimmed down a bit, sleep is amazing, I’m seemingly less stressed, and best of all, I haven’t had any bloating or bad reactions to my food. Infact I’m feeling that good, that I even announced to Brett the other day, that I think I would like to do a whole 90 after christmas.

How is everyone else on the whole 30 going? I would love to hear what improvements you are seeing! Here are some photos of the foods I devoured this week :)

For some reason have been finding it hard to chew my way through my steaks. SO I've been making "steak chips" :) Just cook it, cut em into strips and eat now, or cold later as a snack.

Christmas salad. 1C spinach, tbsp cranberries, 2tsp shredded coconut, squeeze lemon juice, tiny drizzle olive oil, salt and pepper.
